High Life Highland the charitable organisation responsible for promoting opportunities in culture, learning, sport, leisure, health and wellbeing, libraries, youth and music tuition across the Highlands has a new Chief Executive.
Steve Walsh is now into his second week with the Highlands’ largest charity, leading High Life Highland’s portfolio which includes: Community Centres; Visitor Attractions; Sports Halls; Museums; Health and Wellbeing; Swimming Pools; Libraries; Entertainment Venues and Leisure Centres; all of which provide a diverse range of activities and events to meet the needs and wants of local people and visitors to the Highlands.
The new Chief Executive said: “I am really pleased to join High Life Highland, which has built strong foundations in its first eight years. I look forward to working with the team to lead and support its future growth and continued success in the provision of leisure, culture, and arts – particularly for those who most need support in order to maximise participation in our various activities and services.”
