Golspie sees the return of dryside fitness classes at newly refurbished YMCA building

Olivia - new HLH Personal Trainer

High Life Highland is delighted to be welcoming a new Personal Trainer who will be based between Sutherland Swimming Pool and Tain Royal Academy Community Complex (TRACC).

With the addition of Olivia Saunders to the team, the fitness timetables will see the addition of Circuits classes every Monday from 7pm to 7:40pm followed by a relaxing stretch and mindfulness ‘cooldown’ from 7:45pm to 8:45pm.

Olivia said: “I am incredibly enthusiastic about fitness; I love to keep myself fit and share my knowledge with others. Since teaching fitness classes in front of large groups of people, I feel my confidence has grown a lot.

“I love to motivate people to try their very best and reach their fitness goals by taking feedback and adapting each class to participant’s different needs. Keeping things fun and enjoyable gives people the motivation to come back and make exercising a regular part of their routines.

“I really enjoy being a Personal Trainer and, prior to starting at High Life Highland, have built up a great client base which is very mixed.

“What I feel adds to my zest for facilitating classes is that I enjoy taking the time to really get to know people and create the best possible service for them. It is the best feeling when people meet their goals and have been a part of their journey.

“I’m really looking forward to joining the team at High Life Highland, bringing my experience to the table to be able to offer dryside fitness classes on a weekly basis, and learning from feedback each session.”

Kelly Skinner, High Life Highland’s Leisure Manager, added: “It’s an exciting time to be able to offer dryside fitness classes and see the return of Personal Training sessions, which have otherwise been unavailable since last September.

“We are delighted to have Olivia join the team, and hope to see some new faces pop in to try out these new Monday classes.

“These classes will take place in the new Hall at the recently refurbished YMCA building, which has lovely mood lighting installed to help with setting the scene for each class, so in all a very exciting time for Golspie!

“If you’ve been stumped on what to get your friends or family for Christmas, a highlife membership would make the ideal gift since they can now take full advantage of the fuller timetable – particularly as we approach the New Year, when people will be setting new fitness goals for themselves.

“Olivia will, without a doubt, help you to keep motivated and reach your fitness goals.”

Olivia is set to start on Monday 23rd October, offering classes from day one. For the full timetable and to book classes, visit: https://www.highlifehighland.com/golspie/all-classes/
