Big Glasgow Comic Page (BGCP) will be bringing its travelling ComiCon to Inverness Leisure for the first time ever, opening doors to members of the public on Saturday 29th July from 10am to 4pm.
Attendees can expect a fun day out that is suitable for all ages and budgets, with tickets starting from as little as £1 and all children under 5 years old welcomed in free-of-charge.
The exciting new event is set to include over 60 traders and artists selling merch from Marvel, DC, Pokémon, Star Wars, Dungeons & Dragons, and everything in-between.
Ian Bonar of BGCP said: “BGCP first started plans to run in Inverness back in 2019, but due to the pandemic it was postponed – until now, having confirmed Inverness Leisure as the venue.
“Attendees and fans can get free pictures with movie props, statues, and of course the chance to meet all their favourite heroes and villains such as Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Spider-Man, Sonic the Hedgehog, Pikachu, Ghostbusters, Characters from Star Wars and much more.
“BGCP run Comic Conventions in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Loch Lomond, Ayrshire, Dundee, Fife, Aberdeen and now Inverness looks to become an annual event given how quickly tickets are selling.”
The event has proved popular in its run up, with all workshop tickets selling out in advance for: Jurassic Class, Slime Making and Hero Mask Making.
As well as these sold-out workshops, there will also be movie and TV props to inspect, arcade machines and consoles to get your game on, and character meet and greets for fans to get a photo opportunity in.
To top it all off, BGCP ComiCon Inverness is running a Cosplay Competition, which quickly had its 100 RSVP spots filled by eager fans.

BGCP will be taking their travelling ComiCon elsewhere in Scotland throughout 2023, with further locations including: Renfrew, East Kilbride, Oban, Galashiels, Dundee, Dumfries, and more to be announced.
