Following the success of last year’s city spooktacular event at Inverness Botanic Gardens, the ‘Night at the BOOtanics’ experience is set to return to the Bught Park location from 26th – 30th October 2022. The family night sees the popular city attraction turned into an immersive light and projection experience bringing the plants, gardens and unexpected features to life through the garden’s very own Trick or Treat Trail.
‘Night at the BOOtanics’ is one of a series of experiences by Highland Council’s Inverness Events and Festivals Working group which is financially supported by the Inverness Common Good Fund.
This years’ experience has also received financial support from Event Scotland’s National Event Programme.
‘Night at the BOOtanics’ will start at 5.45pm on 26th October, with four separate half-hour slots running each night all the way through until the BOOtanics closes at 8.30pm.
The Provost of Inverness, Councillor Glynis Sinclair, Chair of the City of Inverness Events and Festivals Working Group said, “We are delighted that the Halloween experience ‘The Night at the Bootanics’ is returning this year.
“Halloween is for all members of the family, and we hope to see lots of people come along over the five nights to see the transformation of the gardens.
“We’d love to see as many people as possible dress up this year, and enter into the spirit of this year’s Halloween in the city.
Cllr Sinclair concluded, “Halloween is the first event of our City of Inverness Events & Festivals Winter Programme for 2022. We are grateful that inclusive family events, such as these are made possible through the financial support of the Inverness Common Good Fund.”
The Halloween experience once again see collaboration with local contributors including Eden Court Theatre, Arts in Motion and Limelights.
