1st Edition Ordnance Survey Map, Inverness-Shire Sheet XII.1 .5, 1868
This map shows part of Inverness as it was when the first Ordnance Survey was taken. This particular sheet focuses on Academy Street and Church Street and shows Farraline Park school (now Inverness Library), the old Academy (Dunbar’s Hospital) and several churches which still exist.
