What a great fortnight we had in May with Michael Wunderle and Jennifer Zeuke (pictured above), and Andre Macho and Nicole Ryvkin (pictured below) who were all taking part in The Highland Council’s Augsburg Work Exchange Visit.
The students are apprentices studying Business Administration in Augsburg, Germany. They are just four of twenty exchange students on the two-week placement which allowed them to gain an understanding of a Scottish local authority, learn about working practices, gain experience within their area of study and practice their language skills. The students spent time in various departments at the Highland Archive Centre including Conservation, Records Management, Family History and Archives.
