High Life Highland Conservation Service offers a range of services, advice and training. We specialise in:
- Conservation, stabilisation, cleaning, re-construction and repair of archaeological and historic artefacts including ceramics, metals, wood and organic materials.
- Bookbinding and repair of volumes, parchment, paper, seals, maps, plans and photographs.
- Advice on suitable packaging including custom-made boxes and folders, storage environments, exhibitions and preservation equipment.
- Collection surveys, including collections condition surveys and preventative condition surveys with regard to grant applications and preservation of collections.
To introduce our services we are hosting an Open Day on 24th August 2017 at the Highland Archive Centre, Bught Road, Inverness IV3 5SS.
