On Saturday 1st September, the Highland Archive Centre will once again be taking part in the nationwide Doors Open Day campaign. This year, to mark the 200th anniversary of the Institution of Civil Engineers, we will host a drop in event with displays of original documents relating to the Caledonian Canal and other great Highland engineering projects.
In addition to this there will be a limited number of spaces available on a behind-the scenes tour at 11:30am (booking in advance is essential). For more information, or to book on to a tour, please contact us on 01463 256 444 or email [email protected]. This event is free but donations towards the work of the service are appreciated!
