A collection of works from the observational drawing classes held at the museum during the spring, run by professional artist Jana Emburey. Artists of all abilities came together to improve their seeing and drawing skills in pencil, charcoal and pen and ink at these relaxed and informal classes. The resulting drawings will be changed from time to time during the run of the exhibition to illustrate the groups’ handling of different subject matter, from still lives, plant forms, folded paper, draperies and other objects.
