We are grateful to Mark McGinty, chairperson of volunteer run charity HAI Blood Bikes for bringing us this talk on the challenges of covering the largest Blood Bike region in the country. Blood Bikes provide a free of charge transport service to the Scottish NHS for small urgent items, supporting GPs, care homes, district nurses and community hospitals. The talk will last around 40 minutes, followed by the opportunity to ask questions, and take a short guided tour of the Health, Wealth and Happiness exhibition and see the tiny blood bike, usually found on fundraising stands.
