Inverness Museum and Art Gallery cares for wide ranging collections, including fine and applied art and design, archaeology and social history. We are committed to delivering activity that increases public access to these collections.

We maximise opportunity for positive impact, building connections to foster a culture of inclusion and understanding by offering engagement opportunities guided by the following principles:

Inclusion

We work with a diverse range of people; supporting them to tell their stories, and creating an environment where all people feel safe, welcome, and engaged.

Wellbeing

We improve quality of life through programmes and opportunities which have a positive impact on health and wellbeing.

Collaboration

We connect and collaborate to address the needs of our locality, contributing to thriving cultural life and delivering mutual benefit for partners and communities.

Education

We support Scotland’s educational system as a key provider of opportunities for wide-ranging lifelong learning.
