Former NHS consultant and re-enactor Andrew Newton returns to the museum to ask…’what is archaeology?’. Andrew will be delivering two different sessions throughout the day:
- Every hour on the hour – ‘Stories in the bones: a beginners guide to osteoachaeology’ – (for older children and adults) – 20 to 25 mins.
- Every hour on the half hour – ‘What is archaeology?’ – a hands-on/have-a-go interactive workshop (suitable for ages 5-12 years) – 20 mins.
Sessions are drop-in, so no need to book. There is no charge, although we encourage donations.
