The Caithness Archive Centre will be mounting an exhibition of maps, plans and drawings from the archives, showing the development of Wick Harbour down the ages.
The exhibition is timed to complement the annual display in the St Fergus Gallery by the Wick Society of old photographs from the wonderful Johnston Collection – one of whose themes this year is the Stevenson Breakwater.
You can see the exhibition and the photographs upstairs in Wick Library, and there will also be a selection of original documents on display in the Archive itself for you to browse.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
