‘An Cogadh Mòr: Remembering the Great War in Skye in Lochalsh’ will be available to see at Aros, Portree, on the evening of Friday 11 December 2015. The exhibition will be on display in the foyer during the launch of a new Gaelic film by Urras an Eilein, ‘Walking in the Footsteps of Heroes’. The film begins at 7.30 pm and depicts excursions to the battlefields and war graves of France and Belgium. It will be accompanied by poetry readings, music and commentary.
