To celebrate 5 years as a charity, High Life Highland is holding a series of events throughout its facilities during the month of October. Skye and Lochalsh Archive Centre are hosting an Open Day on Thursday 13 October, with extended hours until 6.30 pm.
Come along to the Archive Centre to browse through old photographs, rekindle memories with back copies of the West Highland Free Press, and find out about the wealth of archival material available for local and family history research.
There will be exhibitions and displays of archive documents, and visitors will have the opportunity to have a tour behind the scenes throughout the day. There is no need to book for this event and all donations received on the day will help us continue to preserve the history and heritage of Skye and Lochalsh.
