A successful storytelling session was held with local poet and author Morag Henriksen on Wednesday 12 July. Twenty four primary children joined us as part of their summer activities programme with the active schools co-ordinator. Morag entertained the children with stories based on local folklore and legend, accompanied by her own fantastic illustrations. There were plenty of opportunities to interact throughout the workshop and the kids (and staff) had a great time!
We are delighted to welcome our new Archivist Juline Baird to the Skye and Lochalsh Archive Centre this month. Juline joins us from the Heritage Hub in the Scottish Borders where she worked for nine years as Assistant Archivist after graduating in 2006.
