Thurso Bay Water Sports Hub is an ‘Area Based’ Community Sport Hub based primarily around the Thurso Bay, local Swimming Pool and water sports club facilities and is open to all water sports clubs and marine or river organisations.

Thurso Bay Water Sports Hub collaborates with the local stakeholders to promote water sports, water safety, community cohesion, marine and environmental conservation, education and training, health and wellbeing and solving problems together.
The hub provides an innovative approach to the development of water sports in the Thurso Bay area and aims to promote and conserve the unique topography and world renound marine environment, providing opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy water sports.
Who is Involved:
Thurso Bay Water Sport Hub began in 2024. The organisation is made up of representatives from member clubs and other local stakeholders. The hub is supported by High Life Highland’s Community Sport Hub programme, Leisure Facilities and Active-Schools teams.
