This concert has been created in celebration of the 100th anniversary of some women getting the vote. It has been partly funded by the Scottish Centenary fund.
THE BEVVY SISTERS
The Bevvy Sisters simultaneously channel the heritage of such classic sister-acts such as the the Pointers and the Boswells, while their own diverse backgrounds and collective songwriting skills reinvent the female trio formula. Whilst nodding to their influences they put original songs, great singing and attitude at the forefront of what they do.

DOREC-A-BELLE
Since forming in 2011, the Dorec-a-belle girls have brought their unique sound of sax, accordion, guitar and cello, overlaid with lush harmony vocals, to many parts of Scotland, including most major festivals.
In addition to many local gigs and a mini-tour of North Highland village halls, Dorec-a-belle returned to Eden Court Theatre and Belladrum Festival this year, and have been invited back to perform at Edinburgh’s Fringe Festival in the Merchants Hall on August 2018.

KAITLIN ROSS
Specialising in Gaelic song and guitar, Kaitlin Ross has centred her time around music by performing at a number of venues and festivals, both nationally and internationally. Being involved in the Fèis movement, particularly Fèis Rois, and attending the National Centre Of Excellence in Traditional Music at Plockto high School, Kaitlin has surrounded herself with music from a very young age. Kaitlin is a member of Eabhal, a contemporary Scottish band who won Battle of the Folk Bands in May this year. Kaitlin has just finished studying her Honours in BA Applied Music where she spent two years based in Benbecula in the Outer Hebrides.
