St Andrews Chamber Orchestra

Comprised of the best student instrumentalists from the University of St Andrews, St Andrews Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Michael Downes and Bede Williams, play the first concert of their tour to the Highlands. The overture from Schumann’s incidental music to Byron’s poem Manfred is heard alongside Wagner’s symphonic poem Siegfried Idyll, followed by Beethoven’s revolutionary third symphony, Eroica.
