Pop-up Opera
Pop-up Opera is back with three brilliant half-hour shows for audiences of all ages! Experience all the drama and wonder of grand opera on a miniature scale, with intimate open-air performances brought to life by a storyteller, two singers, instrumentalists – and a sumptuous set of specially created illustrations. The shows this year include two cleverly rewritten versions of Rossini’s and Mozart’s classic comedies – The Barber of Seville and The Marriage of Figaro. Both follow the adventures of one of opera's most beloved characters…

The Mahler Players return to their roots with the Highland premiere of Mahler’s Seventh Symphony. The orchestra’s Principal Horn Rob Farmer has created a powerful chamber orchestra version for 35 players – maintaining the drama and mystery of the original while rendering it playable in the beautiful and atmospheric surroundings of Strathpeffer Pavilion. Join them for what is sure to be a very memorable concert.
