The Macphail Centre is an integrated arts, learning and community Centre. The Centre has a wide range of rooms and spaces available for meetings, training, theatre, exhibitions, conferences and activities for all ages. The Centre is part of the Ullapool Community High School premises incorporating the Public Library. The whole building has been enhanced by a public art project.

The Macphail Centre is managed by High Life Highland in partnership with the Macphail Centre Management Committee. The committee is made up of interested community representatives, with advisers from Ullapool High School, Highland Council and High Life Highland. It is part of the Ullapool Learning Community Partnership.
